Void locale

Check the current locales:

1locale -a

Add the languages you want by editing /etc/default/libc-locales, and uncommenting your choice:

1#en_DK.UTF-8 UTF-8
2#en_DK ISO-8859-1
3en_GB.UTF-8 UTF-8
4en_GB ISO-8859-1
5#en_HK.UTF-8 UTF-8
6#en_HK ISO-8859-1

Now you can generate what you need for those languages. However, instead of generating what you need, you're going to generate everything which needs updating:

1sudo xbps-reconfigure glibc-locales

Finally, select your chosen locale by placing it in /etc/locale.conf.

 1echo "LC_ALL=en_GB.UTF-8
 2LANG=en_GB.UTF-8
 3LANGUAGE=en_GB.UTF-8" > /etc/locale.conf
 4
 5
 6#en_DK.UTF-8 UTF-8
 7#en_DK ISO-8859-1
 8en_GB.UTF-8 UTF-8
 9en_GB ISO-8859-1
10#en_HK.UTF-8 UTF-8
11#en_HK ISO-8859-1

Check your new locales are available:

1locale -a
