Trim images to border
This is generally used for transparent images.
1convert -trim image.png output.png
Make the white of an image transparent.
1convert -transparent white -fuzz 10% input.png output.png

Mass convert
This script converts all jpg files in a directory to svg.
1for i in *jpg
2do convert "$i" $(ls "$i" | sed s#jpg\$#svg#)
3done
SVG
The above script has crappy results. It's better to use potrace.
1$convert -flatten input.jpg output.ppm
2$potrace -s output.ppm -o svgout.svg
